The number of owners buying pet health and dental insurance for their dogs and cats is on the rise in America and climbing each year. Concerned owners seem to be trying to make distinct they have the ability to pay for the cost of routine care and any unexpected medical or dental emergencies for their pets. Though I am not against health or dental insurance for dogs and cats, I do think there are some noble guidelines for helping you make the decision in purchasing insurance for your dog or cat, as well as other options that can help you be able to pay for the routine care of your pet as well as those unexpected emergencies.

Research Before You Buy. There are currently several companies offering pet health and dental insurance for dogs and cats. I highly recommend that you do a lot of research before you buy. Compare prices, read reviews, and thoroughly read through the information of each insurance you are interested in.

Manufacture sure you find out what is covered and what is not. Some pet health insurances will only mask emergency care and not routine care or the other procedure around. Many will not cover pre-existing or breed-specific hereditary health problems. Some include routine dental care and emergencies, while others don't, requiring you to purchase extra or separate insurance for dental coverage for your pet. Some will not insure pets past a certain age or the price is much higher for older pets.

It is also important that you know what the co-pay, deductible, and monthly premiums are. Then find out if there is a pay cap on coverage that won't go beyond a certain dollar amount. If you have more than one pet, find out if the insurance offers a discount for insuring multiple pets.

Make certain you know the pet insurance you determine inside and out before you buy so you are not caught off guard by unexpected costs or medical and dental care that is not covered. One good dwelling for comparing pet insurance companies is Pet Insurance Review. You can read customer reviews and opinions, compare rates and coverage, and get free quotes from multiple pet insurance companies.

Does the Company You Work for Offer Pet Insurance? There has been a recent rise in companies that offer pet health insurance as an option to their employees. If you don't know if your company offers pet insurance or not, it wouldn't hurt to come by out. If your company does offer it, you may get the insurance for less than you would purchasing it on your own. Once again, make sure you know the insurance inside and out before you decide to catch it.

Clinics that Offer Low Cost or Free Routine Pet Care. You might be surprised to learn that there may be clinics in your area that offer low cost or free pet care for dogs and cats. Many of these clinics offer low cost or free shots, medical exams, spaying, neutering, and even micro-chipping. When I lived in Chicago, there were clinics that offered these services if you lived in certain zip code areas. I lived in one of those areas and my cat was able to get a complete physical exam and shots for $25 as well as having him neutered for free. The clinic I went to took care of cats and dogs. The dogs that came in were also micro-chipped for free. To find out if there are any clinics like this in your area, you can easily do a little online research or call your local veterinary clinics, shelters, or humane societies to find out if they have any information.

Savings Instead of Insurance. If you're not sure you want to purchase insurance for your pet, but you would like to make determined you have the money in case there is an unexpected emergency, you could always start a savings story for such an occasion. This can also be a good option if the only insurance you can find that will cover your pet costs more than you are willing or able to pay.

Shawn Michaels wanted to come out one last time and say his goodbyes to the fans, and as a result, the fans are ALSO responsible for Rebecca getting hit. If Shawn Michaels would have shown some modesty, it wouldn’t have happened. Shawn Michaels is going to have to live with that, and his family will too, for the rest of their lives! They cut to an exclusive interview with Shawn Michaels after SummerSlam, and Shawn says that he’s “going to go home, comfort his wife, his kids – and then…and then…” and Michaels walks away with his wife in hand.
–
They cut to an interview with Cm Punk! First Jeff Hardy, now Kane. BOOOOO
Kane says that the fans looked shocked when he pulled Rey’s mask out of the bag. Kane has been carrying it for a while, putting a smile on his face. HILARIOUS!!! The catering must be good. That section of leafy greens was VERY clear in WWE HD.
BATISTA COMES OUT! And Kane and Batista start to go at it! Spear and a spinebuster by Batista! Punk with a reverse-sunset flip, and Punk gets a 2 count cover on Jericho. Jericho charges Punk, and Punk sidesteps Jericho…Jericho between the ropes to the outside! Michael Cole sends it off into a commercial break.
-
We are back as Jericho has Punk in a rear-naked-underarm choke. A couple of side-elbows by Punk, and Jericho sends Punk off the ropes for a clothesline, cover, 2 count on Punk. A couple of elbowdrops by Jericho, and Jericho picks up Punk for a backbreaker, into a modified bow-and-arrow stretch submission over Jericho’s knee. Punk breaks free, and Jericho gets Punk into a standing side stretch submission. Punk breaks free, and Jericho sends Punk into the corner…and Jericho goes for a bulldog, and Punk with a kick to the side of Jericho’s head! Punk with momentum now, and Punk with a double-underhook backbreaker on Jericho, 2 count! Punk with a running knee in the corner, and Jericho counters the running bulldog. LIONSAULT by Jericho, 2 count! Punk now with a hurrancarana, and gets a 2 count! Punk in the corner with Jericho, reversal, and Jericho with a running elbow. Jericho gets the 1,2,3!!!
Winner: Chris Jericho by pinfall
The credits roll, and RAW is done!
-
OVERALL: There was a lot of dependable wrestling in this prove, pretty good. No advancement of storylines (well, maybe a little) but overall, a program packed with professional wrestling matches.
6 out of 8

Or should I say… GEICO Cavemen slated to become a TV sitcom?

It’s true! Those insulted cavemen from the Geico Insurance commercials have a sitcom in development with ABC.

The cavemen ad campaign came about in 2005, with characters created by the Martin Agency, the same people behind the proposed Caveman sitcom. The premise of the Geico commercials is simple… and kind of outlandish. 2 cavemen, played by Ben Weber and Jeff Daniel Phillips are for, whatever reason, alive and well today, and are offended by Geico’s claim that geico.com is “so easy, a caveman could do it.”

The initial commercial, which was simple and to the “point” spawned at least 3 additional commercials, including my personal favorite (in a like to hate kind of way) that shows the Geico spokesperson who originally made the claim that geico.com was so easy a caveman could use it apologizing to the cavemen while browsing a menu at a fancy restaurant. Like in every commercial, the caveman is disgusted and that’s the big laugh. At least, I think that’s what they’re going for.

Like all things that annoy me to death, I figured the supposed-to-be-long-dead-yet-here-they-are-bugging-the-crap-out-of-me-cavemen’s days were petite. Apparently, I was unfavorable, and evidently, I’m in the minority wanting them to go away.

This year Geico launched a website, a highly interactive one at that, taking place in the cavemen’s apartment. This website, located at http://www.cavemanscrib.com invites you in and lets you play around with things in the apartment, including changing the music on the iPod, knocking the power out trying to microwave some dip, and even walking into the bathroom while a caveman is taking a shower. It’s like I’ve died and gone to Heaven, let me tell you. I’m sure there’s even more to do at the caveman’s crib; I couldn’t stomach sticking around any longer to find out.

The Internet and commercials, though, do not true annoyance make. Surely, a sitcom based on the caveman characters couldn’t be a reality. Couldn’t be… but is.

ABC isn’t just talking about it, they already ordered the pilot. The tentatively named “Cavemen” is one of 14 pilots being produced by Touchstone Television for the 2007 spring season. I assume it bears repeating… the pilot will indeed be written by Martin Agency, the creators of the cavemen for the Geico commercials.

The plot of the modern Cavemen sitcom is not exactly a long shot from the commercials – they are Neanderthals who live in modern times (Atlanta, 2007 to be exact) who don’t wish to be treated any differently than the rest of us. And isn’t that just completely understandable… after all, they’re only supposed to be DEAD.

And there it is: The evolution from commercial, to website, to sitcom. I wonder if it’s those Nielsen families that are responsible for all this…

At any rate, how long do you mediate this show can pull off the same caveman reaction to the same modern day prejudice? Will Geico advertising be sprinkled throughout the reveal, making it less a sitcom and more a really long, painful commercial?

On the upside, if they’re ever at a loss for guest stars, perhaps they could get the gecko to make a nice cameo!

As mighty as I’d stay away from this reveal if it were on, I’m morbidly curious to see if it does get picked up. It’s the masochist in me, I’m tellin’ ya!

In the state of Michigan, auto insurance is the law. Michigan’s mandatory auto insurance is called Michigan No Fault Insurance. Michigan’s no fault system has been in status since 1973. No fault means, if you are involved in an accident, it doesn’t matter who is at fault. Your auto insurance covers you, and the other party’s auto insurance covers them.

Michigan No Fault Insurance applies to owners of passenger vehicles, light trucks, vans, and motorcycles. In Michigan, owners of these types of vehicles are prohibited from registering their vehicles until the minimum liability auto insurance requirements have been met. Michigan insurance laws state that all drivers must carry $20,000 bodily injury liability for one person, $40,000 bodily injury liability for all injuries in one accident, and $10,000 property damage liability (20,40/10). Because Michigan’s minimum requirements are crude, most insurance providers will recommend purchasing higher amounts than the bare minimum and/or uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage.

In addition, proof of liability insurance must be carried in the vehicle at all times. Once you obtain auto insurance from an agent or company licensed to do business in the state of Michigan, you will receive a Michigan No Fault insurance certificate. This certificate must be carried in the vehicle at all times. Under Michigan law, a la enforcement officer can request proof of insurance for any reason at any time. If you fail to provide proof of auto insurance upon quiz, the Secretary of State will suspend your driver’s license. Your driver’s license cannot be reinstated until you provide proof of insurance. And according to Autoinsurancetips.com, until proof of insurance is shown, the Secretary of State will not renew, transfer, or replace your vehicle’s license plate. The cost to have you license reinstated could cost up to $50 plus any other fees required by Michigan law.

When you are ready to open shopping for Michigan auto insurance, you should have the following information on hand: car year, make and model, how distinguished you drive, and prior insurance coverage (if applicable). In addition, auto insurance agents will ask a series of questions to back assess risk. These include: age, gender, where you live, employment, number of drivers, and driving record. In addition, many Michigan auto insurance providers will ask you to provide a social security number. Insurance companies use credit history to help assign an insurance risk score. Auto insurance companies believe that individuals with a shameful credit score are more likely to file claims. In some cases, a low credit score will cause higher rates or the insurance company may refuse to extend an insurance offer altogether.

In 2008, Michigan residents paid an average of $980 per year for auto insurance making Michigan the 13th most expensive state in the nation for auto insurance. At $1,140 per year, the most expensive place in the U.S. for auto insurance is the District of Columbia, followed by New Jersey at $1,104, and Louisiana $1,096.

Bodily Injury Liability is an insurance coverage which is placed against injuries or death that results from accident by insured car. Bodily injury insurance is initialized as (BIL). Bodily Injury Liability coverage pays for ascertained injury or death to others persons where an insured vehicle is involved in the accident. The insurance company in which the vehicle is registered and ascertained as insured, pays for the injuries depending on the terms of the insurance policy and the premiums covers paid. If the owner or driver of the vehicle is sued for causing the accident, usually the insurance company organizes for legal representation.

It is worth while noting that bodily injury liability (BIL) involves the coverage of persons whether in the insured person’s vehicle or other vehicle. This implies that the insurance company considers paying for injuries caused by the insurance buyer or members of the family who live with this insurance buyer. This is so even if the insurer was driving someone else’s car. The liability may also cover others who drive the insurer’s vehicle with permission. Depending on the agreement of the insurance terms usually the premiums are designed to hide all these subjects and the more inclusiveness of the terms the higher the insurance premiums paid.

When an accident occurs, the victims are taken for medical treatments.

Bodily injury insurance program pays for damages to the injured person whose injuries are as a result of the accident. Medical treatment bills incurred in the hospital are considered as part of the compensation plan for the insurance company against the injured. However these bills are not paid as the injured undergoes treatment. It involves a ‘claim-after-service’ plan in which the injured settles their bills and places the claims. Where one is injured then has to use the medical coverage pay for bills, a medical insurance or pay out-of-pocket. When the injured has settled the corresponding bills, then an insurance claim is launched subjecting the insurance to pay for the expenses as part of the compensation.

The injured person has to undergo all medical treatment and the bills are attach together for the claim. Therefore, the compensation cannot be carried out when the injured has not recovered from the injuries. Payment of medical bills by the insurance is carried out after the injured party is through with medical treatment. The bill is presented to the insurance upon which a consultation takes place and thereafter a reimbursement to the entity that paid for the medical bills. This entity would be the medical insurance shroud company or any other party involved in the payment of the bills.

The bodily insurance liability also extends to cover the emotional suffering in which injured person undergoes. When an accident occurs usually the injured suffers from shock, mental distress and panic as well as afflict and anguish. That pain and suffering is not tangible. It is thus hard to measure. However, it is derived and becomes one of the injury claim subjects. This may be a complex affair in which professional medical experts are involving in analysing the level of pain one undergoes. Other complications may arise due to the mental and physical distress such as increased blood pressure and ulcers. In quantifying this pain, people who are more sensitive to pain such as the elderly or already sick usually receive higher pain or stress imprint than the average and health person. Hence they receive higher proportion of the compensation claim. Some injured persons provide unfounded information on the magnitude of the pain they are experiencing. Generally the compensation is based on extraneous information like age, force of impact and any pre-existing injuries.

Where a person does not go to work due to the injury, the insurance company under the bodily injury liability also considers paying for the days not worked. Usually the company in which the injured works for is consulted and provides information on dates the injured has been absent from work and the pay rate. A doctor must validate and ascertain that the injured couldn’t work during that period. Therefore, the insurance company is liable for compensation of the injured under the Bodily Injury Liability.

“From the first establishment of (trade) which served reciprocal but not common purposes, a process has been going on for millennia which, by making rules of conduct independent of the particular purposes of those concerned, made it possible to extend these rules to ever wider circles of undetermined persons and eventually might make possible a universal peaceful order of the world.”[1]

Introduction

Rather than seek to put forth theories founded upon the opinions of F.A. Hayek, the mission of this essay is to use all the wisdom available pertaining to the subject, which wisdom stretches far beyond one person.

Untried Principle

“Christianity might be a good thing if anyone ever tried it.”-George Bernard Shaw-[2]

The dismissing of trade’s usefulness for the promotion of civilized principles as naïve could very well be compared to the above statement. The concept of truly free trade stands as an untried principle, shoulder to shoulder with thousands of unapplied theories. Why has the idea been so discarded? Often, the reason for so doing is in pursuit of human rights. These human rights stem from basic morals espoused by the classical liberals, affirming man’s natural freedoms.

Arguments posed against free trade are consistently interested in pointing out how capitalism runs counter to these ideals of natural freedom, and how capitalism must be kept in check in order to ensure those freedoms. So many forget that trade in and of itself is a moral value, consisting of quid pro quo, which religion and philosophy have taught as truth for centuries. Those who argue that the ethics of human rights overrule the principle of free trade, relegate one moral behind the others. Unfortunately, such is the position we find ourselves in at this time.

A Lack of Trust

Trust is the concept entirely lacking in the debate. This essay seeks to display how trust in government, and not in the governed, is what keeps the world from becoming a more peaceful place.

The belief in the individual and the individual’s propensity for doing agreeable has been shrugged off as wishful thinking. Many follow a Hobbesian approach, thinking instead that mankind’s existence as a whole is “solitary, bad, nasty, brutish, and short.”[3] To overgeneralize not being among the least of sins, such an approach (while convenient) is not called for. We must look to and trust the individual, inasmuch as at an individual level, the process toward peaceful civilized behavior begins.

How far is the individual to be trusted? Gibbon stated emphatically in his Decline and Fall of The Roman Empire that “History is microscopic more than the register of the crimes, follies and misfortunes of mankind,”[4] showing that the preponderance of evidence points towards a probative attitude towards the governed. Still, such estimations defraud the individual, propagating injustice, malice and contention. Among societies that value equality, who is being dealt with equity? The reply lies within the definition of trust.

Peaceful, Civilized Behavior

The plan of the social contract (postulated by both Hobbes and Locke) involves giving up some rights for the protection of others. These forfeited rights act as the trust (consent) of the governed in (to) their government. Locke described the fundamental rights of “life, liberty, and estate”[5] as those worthy of being protected. Inherent and intrinsic in that protection is the government trusting the individual. It is the individual’s life, the individual’s liberty, and the individual’s estate that is necessarily protected. Any incursion of governmental authority is justified when it involves protecting these three quintessential rights. Historically, the government’s trust in the individual’s judgment of what is best for their estate and how to increase their property has been diminishing. Government regulates, taxes, monitors and decides. Government is set at odds with the individual, creating distrust between the protected and the protector. This dissociation destroys peace by creating sides instead of a cooperative.

Whereas calm nature is hindered in the situation by a lack of trust, it follows that even civilized behavior has a difficult time flourishing in such an environment. In a society where trade choices are limited by criteria, statute and excessive taxation, the breathing organism of civilization is anesthetized into a stillborn idea. Entrepreneurship and foreign investment in countries with higher taxation and regulation for social programs is consistently dismal.[6] Civilization progresses under the auspices of commerce. Oxford’s English Dictionary defines civilize as “to bring out of a less developed stage of society.”[7] Again, the idea of economic increase here is applicable. Mistrust of individual commerce has led to the regulation of it, creating punishment for personal proactivity and development. Such regress stands opposed to the idea of civilization.

Peaceful, Civilized Behavior II

While we have discussed how loss of rights to free economic intercourse creates discord in the social contract, and regression in civilization, we have yet to examine how the exposition of those rights encourages collected, civilized behavior.

First, to civilize. Using Oxford’s definition, we are led to believe that in whatever free trade must do to accomplish the purpose of civilizing, it must “bring [the individual] out of a less developed stage.”[8] The individual is in a less developed stage when they begin the process of increasing their estate. Actions such as investing, consuming, and selling enhance the development of the individual. He learns practical application of mathematics, history and trends, and even social psychology. The individual is able to recognize and overcome problems because commerce has made him a dilemma solver. Commerce has brought him out of a less developed stage. To civilize is not to imbue the individual with civil rights. Rather, it is to broaden and deepen his understanding of society and motivation to do genuine. Civilization is elevation. By eliminating barriers to investing, consuming and selling extant because of taxation, the individual is given the opportunity to finally make good of that which nature has already blessed him.

Peace is established when set specific duties are competently performed. When those who govern have the best interests of the individual’s fundamental rights in mind, and work to protect them, government earns the trust (consent) of the governed. Revolts brought on by taxation have been justified, only when the government being protested has infringed upon the basic liberties afforded the individual by nature.

Is peace relative? Free trade is not about to bring world peace, even at its most liberated. Instead, free economic intercourse between individuals, is by its nature, unexcited. The Spanish word for business, negócios, denotes the peaceful exchange inherent in the action. While some would like to point out the similarities between business and warfare, less polemic etymologies exist:

Economy – Greek origin, originally household management[9]

Trade – English origin, German equivalent is Handel, implying the hand[10]

Of note is the idea of trade involving the hand, and the peaceful nature inherent in the extension of it in Western culture.

Universal, Peaceful Order

Final consideration must be paid to the opinion of a peaceful universal order in connection with the virtues of free trade. Of all the ideas discarded as naïve by current generations, the concept of a peaceful universal order is the most out of approach. To call such a belief intuitive is not enough; it is revolutionary.

In the same way that peaceful, civilized behavior could only be promoted by the development of mutual trust between government and the governed, a unifying, universal peaceful order of the world would necessitate a deeper human value than trust. Such an endeavor would require understanding. While free trade deepens the personality, and enhances the human experience, it cannot provide view. Understanding requires a human relationship between the individual and other individuals that free trade alone does not offer.

John Gunther, in writing about post World War II Communist Hungary said:

“The true reasons [for Hungarian prosperity] probably reside not in lenience by the authorities, but in the national character.”[11]

For all applicable reasons, free trade will not establish the world. Free economic intercourse is designed so as to fabricate individuals of trust and peaceful purpose. Where regulatory hindrances vanish, peaceful, civilized behavior as described herein abounds. Until that trust is accentuated by understanding, until individuals view other individuals as more than mere consumers and strangers, peaceful, civilized behavior will not give way to universal unruffled order of the world.

Ironically, State Farm insurance company adjusters will give away “FREE” money to auto accident victims provided that they do NOT file a personal injury claim in their initial report. In other words, If you don’t report a personal injury when you file your claim, Position Farm will most likely give you a “break” on your auto accident property damage and pay you more money for your vehicle worth.

Personally, I would wait until you have settled the property damage on your vehicle before filing a personal injury claim. You will receive “FREE” money simply because you have NOT filed a personal injury claim. Most likely the amount you will receive for your property afflict will be about $1000.00 or higher than the actual cost of your vehicle worth, simply because they are in fear of a personal injury claim, which could possibly lead to good litigation, which will cost Region Farm or any other auto accident insurance company legal experts years and thousands of dollars because of legal fees.

To me, this is what I call “FREE” money. After you settle the property damage on your vehicle, you can always begin a personal injury claim against Spot Farm or any other insurance company. In most states, you have up to (2) two years to resolve your personal injury claim before hiring an attorney and filing a lawsuit or litigation proceedings.

Also, in most states in the USA. You also have (18) eighteen months to settle your property distress before hiring an attorney for litigation or lawsuit process, because you have tried to handle this claim yourself and working with the insurance adjuster without hiring an attorney which looks “Gigantic” in front of a jury.

But, remember these insurance adjusters are also looking for “Dummies” or any fraudulent activity, whenever you talk to them. They will also record your initial conversation just so they can utilize it against you during their deposition if lawsuit is filed. They will write down every word you say during your conversation and station this is what you said during your first conversation after your accident.

Recorded conversations are NOT permissible during insurance adjuster depositions, but most likely the insurance attorney has listened to your modern conversation and told the insurance adjuster exactly what to say during their deposition.

Another way of “FREE” money with State Farm Insurance is to get them with the rental car? Even if your vehicle is drivable, you can tell the adjuster that it’s NOT? And still come by your rental car for free, mileage free, but you will have to pay for the gas. I would suggest keeping this rental vehicle as long as possible, until they come out and pick it up! If State Farm tries to charge you for the mileage, because of your loss of vehicle, you can always show this during your deposition, which caused you “distress & suffering” out of your ever day map of life and you did NOT have another drivable vehicle?

Please remember, this accident was probably not your fault? Why should you have to be the one that suffers because of this accident? Why should you have to suffer everyday because someone else is just a “Abominable Driver? ” You did NOT ask for this accident?

My advice for any auto accident victim with State Farm Insurance, would be to take it “slow” with the State Farm adjusters and appraisers, and just simply wait and see what they are doing before hiring legal counsel or any attorney? These Dwelling Farm employee’s are “Experts” and they know their jobs, and they will also ” wait and see” what you will do first before paying you any money and if you are going to file a personal injury claim.

And always remember, lawsuits are filed against the other driver and NOT the insurance company.

Unfortunately, auto accident payments are based on time and calculations. And as simply put with any insurance claim. If “You play your cards right” with these adjusters and appraisers with any insurance company. You can make some “FREE” money with these insurance companies like State Farm, Allstate, Geico, Nationwide, etc. provided that you allow enough time for the procedure process.

Thanks for reading,

Phillip Chambley.

When you get an auto insurance quote, do you know exactly what you need to ask? Do you know what the terms are and what they mean? Here are a few tips that will help you believe and talk like an insurance agent when you call for an auto insurance quote. First of all remember that an agent is in the business to sale his product. However, you being the customer you always have the final say. Here are some terms and their meanings.

Liability is the coverage that will protect you and your property and possessions in the event you are at fault in a multi-vehicle accident. This coverage will pay the other person or persons involved for hospital bills, their vehicle repairs or pay off, and protect you in the event of a law suit. The limits of liability vary from state to state. Here in Tennessee the minimum limits are $25,000 per person up to $50,000 per accident. This means the insurance will pay up to $25,000 to the other person(s) involved but will not exceed a total of $50,000 for one accident. Limits range also from $50,000/100,000 up to $250,000/500,000.

Uninsured motorist is the coverage that will protect you in the event someone collides with you, and they are not carrying any insurance at all. This coverage will help pay for your vehicle repairs or replacement minus a $250 deductible. If this happens, the other person who is not carrying insurance is given the chance to make restitution to your insurance company and provide proof they have gotten insurance before they have their license taken. This is providing they have a license and do not waste up in jail for some reason.

Medical payments will pay for your hospital and ambulance services up to a certain amount which is specified on the policy. Standard medical pay is $5000. You can carry higher or lower medical payments if you desire. Just ask the agent what their choices are.

Full coverage insurance is when a person carries liability, uninsured motorist, medical payments, comprehensive, and collision coverage. In other words, they have it all.

Comprehensive covers the fire, theft, vandalism, glass breakage, and animal collision on your vehicle. This coverage comes with several choices of deductibles. Deductibles are what you pay out of pocket before the insurance takes over. The standard deductible on this is either zero or $50. Most people carry such a low deductible since if a windshield or glass is broken, they usually only cost $300 to $400. Thus, there would be no need to have a $500 deductible on comprehensive since broken windshields are the most common claims turned in under this coverage.

Collision is what will pay for repairs or pay off of your vehicle in the event of an at fault accident or a single vehicle accident. Most people will opt for a $500 deductible on this coverage in order to keep their premium lower. Collision is the most expensive coverage on the entire policy.

Some companies offer Emergency Road Service and Rental Reimbursement. First Rental Reimbursement will not pay for you a rental vehicle if you automobile is in the shop just for mechanical repairs. This only covers a rental car if your car must be repaired due to an accident. Emergency Road Service will cover a tow in the event of a mechanical break down but will not cover just having a vehicle pulled from a ditch. If a tow is done due to sliding in a ditch or getting stuck, this is actually considered a collision and would fall under that coverage. Both of these coverages are optional.

Always do your homework on a company also. Check on their ratings and rankings, check to see if there are any complaints filed against them, and definitely check on their cancellation policies and statistics. Just doing this could do you a bundle on your auto insurance.

I certain hope this will help you if you are looking to get auto insurance. If you talk and reflect like an agent, you could probably save yourself some money on your auto insurance.

Candidates, start your engines … NASCAR is filled with brilliant minds, heavy wallets, exertion about the underprivileged and those with extra-needs, and they truly believe that government can perform a difference. Race to that tune or you just won’t net the race.

Can anyone be elected to the office of President without the NASCAR vote? No. Do they have to be NASCAR fans, or savvy about NASCAR races, to be elected? No. Do they have to know who the people of NASCAR really are and address those concerns? Oh, yes.

First, they and their advisors must realize that NASCAR is not about “dads.” There are almost as many female fans as male fans. Even NASCAR owners and sports demographic sources seemed on “disconnect” about this. You’ll see the numbers of female fans quoted as being anywhere from 41% to nearly 50%. If you wait on a NASCAR race, you may well decide females are about 75% of the base.

Who are these women and what do they like about NASCAR. You’ve probably seen the Allstate commercial of excited women backing into a light pole as they drooled over Kasey Kahne, driver of the #9 Nextel Cup Series car. So, the fact that many of the racers are better looking than current Hollywood stars is one dimension of it. When one looks at tall, lanky, super-handsome #55 driver Michael Waltrip, it is easy to see why some woman have photographed his Citizen Eco-Drive print ad photo for wallpaper on their cell phones.

But, there are other reasons too. These women are from all walks of life, and all kinds of occupations. Some are teachers who believe an entire curriculum could be developed around NASCAR, using it to grunt everything from history and social studies to math and physics. Many women who are in scientific fields are drawn to this sport for the same reasons as their scientific male counterparts … this sport is all about physics, math, and growing technology. It is cutting edge.

Women fancy the sexy looking clothes. Occupy it from me, these suits look sizable on the guys, but also can gaze dramatic and sexy on fans when they do the offered “ride-alongs” and drives offered by some tracks and some racers. I tried it out a couple of years ago and found that one … the suit was well-organized sexy on, I didn’t want to give it back.

Being in the car, as a passenger or driver, sets off a reeling amount of contradictions. In his autobiography, Dale Earnhardt Jr talks about this conflict and that before he gets in the car he often wonders why he is risking his life, then once he gets going the thought goes away. As I slid over the doorframe and into the car I had that same thought pattern.

The first lap is a blur. Vision adapts on the next lap and you start being able to see everything that you are whipping past. And hanging off a high banking 4th turn, with your harness rattling, well … it is the wildest feeling in the world. When Dale Jarrett, owner of the Jarrett Racing Experience and the #44 driver, asked me a few months after my drive, “How did you like it? ” I had to tell him that “Every fan should do it. It is awesome.” Women love adventure. In fact, of the dozens of people doing drives the morning I did, all the ones who were begging to “do it again” … ALL were women. This does not, however, give any advantage to Governor Palin. Women who fancy adventure are free thinkers.

Second, the candidate and their staff must realize there is not a relationship between getting the “southern state” votes and getting the NASCAR vote. There are plenty of southerners who could care less about NASCAR, just as there are people in Wisconsin who would trade in their cheesehead gear in a minute for an autograph from homeboy Matt Kenseth, 2004 NASCAR Champion.

The south and stereotypical NASCAR is passé. Yes, there was some truthiness in the movie TALLADEGA NIGHTS but only insofar as the sport exists in Talladega, and as it existed 25 years ago. Actually, some praise goes to that movie for an understanding that the sport does embrace diversity. Featuring the fine actor Michael Clarke Duncan as Ricky Bobby’s crew chief took the sport somewhere it should actually go … we should be seeing more minorities in those kinds of high profile jobs.

Third, the successful candidate needs to know that there IS a growing amount of diversity in the sport. Many don’t realize that Bill Lester, driver in the Craftsman Truck Series, is the only unusual sad driver in the three top NASCAR series. Bill is a high tech guy with a college degree in Education & Computer Science from University of California, Berkeley. Explore around at all the pits at all the races. You’ll see a rainbow. If you are going to be President, you’ll have to stop thinking of NASCAR as a redneck sport and see it as the technology driven sport it surely is. And one that appeals to lustrous people.

Third, NASCAR fans, by and large, have a substantial amount of discretionary income. They have to have that. This is not a cheap sport. For one person, to one major accelerate the heed alone will likely be $100. Add to that fuel to get their, possibly airline tickets and rental car, accommodations, probably more tickets since you’ll likely want to see the entire weekend of racing. As a single person, traveling in my bear truck, I end up spending about $1,000 each time I help a hurry.

Fourth, NASCAR fans are for the most share highly educated. Most of the fans I chat with have at least one college degree, some, like me, have multiple degrees. I’ve even met a rocket scientist at a Vegas accelerate.

Some think of NASCAR as sort of “simple” … hey, it’s just folks driving around and around in circles. Well, other than one in Tennessee, I can’t think of any major tracks that are really circles … ovals, tri-ovals, rectangles … but not circles. I guess these people who contemplate they are too smart to like NASCAR, just don’t understand geometry very well.

Richard Feynman, the physicist who served so well on the Challenger investigation committee, was a child protégée. When he entered his first college physics classroom his classmates couldn’t understand what he was talking about. Learning on his own, he had developed his hold language for concepts in physics. Still his knowledge of how things work far surpassed most others working in the field.

When I listen to Darryl Waltrip talk about the vortex of heat that builds up and keeps the track drier even when rain is nearby, or when I hear Richard Petty talk about the coathanger shape of a track and how that can be used for acceleration, I am reminded of Richard Fenyman. Waltrip and Petty haven’t studied physics but they know all about the aspects of it they have weak in their careers. With their experience, and they processing of that information, they are just as knowledgable about physics in their occupation as Feynman was in his.

Fifth, people in NASCAR have the very best of hearts when it comes to giving to others and working with their communities and charities. The Petty Family’s Victory Junction Camp, part of the Hole in the Wall Gang Camps founded by Paul Newman, is one very visible charity that has been developed by racing families to help seriously ill children from all over the country. Many of the sport’s top athletes give their time and money to this charity. And most of the stars in NASCAR have their own charities they work with. Dale Jr is well known for his work with humane societies, Greg Biffle and Ryan Newman each have charities to help homeless animals.

Do the Republicans have an edge with NASCAR? Well, even Democratic NASCAR fans thought it was pretty cool when Mr. Bush let the cars be parked on the White House lawn and invited the top 10 finishers to the Oval Office. However, no one has ever overlooked the fact that Mr. Bush’s advisors understand the value of a astronomical photo op. The phrase that could best justify the current presidency is “photo-op-iness.” But, that only goes so far.

Yes, Mr Bush did establish in a day at the Victory Junction Camp, just as he did fly-ins to the Gulf soar in the days after Katrina. He loves those photo-ops. And he loves the money that dear Champion Richard Petty gave to his campaign.

And certainly the federal government has mined the NASCAR fan wicked and each branch of the military has a vendor booth at each and every urge. So, they do recruit more soldiers from NASCAR than any other sport.

Democrats also need to be buying vendor space at the races and selling what they are offering: Peace, Prosperity, Jobs, Health Insurance coverage for all Americans. Democrats need to reach the 100,000 to 250,000 people that attend these races. Democrats do need to let the NASCAR audience know that we understand them and that we ARE them. NASCAR’s fan wrong expanded most during the Presidency of Bill Clinton. NASCAR sponsors, teams and fans suffered financially under Mr. Bush.

Now, I don’t know if Bill ever attended a NASCAR accelerate but he won enormous, so for clear he was getting the NASCAR fans vote. His message embraced everyone and made clear what was “in it” for others.

Today, NASCAR has 43 “candidates” (or racers) racing to the “trudge” … the final 10 races of the year. Only one becomes Champion as only one will become President in the 2008 election. And the win does not always go to the first, fastest, or best … it goes to the one with the most consistency. Give us consistency, and we’ll put you in the top spot.
